Dear church family,
This little book is a gift we give each other. Every face in these pages is someone who has prayed with you, cooked for you, or sat beside you on a Sunday morning.
Keep it near the phone. Call someone you haven’t seen in a while. Learn the names of the children. And when a new family joins us, find their picture and say hello.
With gratitude for each of you,
Sunday School meets at 9:30 for every age, with coffee for the grown-ups.
The Care Team visits members in the hospital and at home, and brings meals when a family welcomes a baby or says goodbye to someone they love.
The Food Pantry is open Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Volunteers are always welcome.
Youth Group meets Sunday evenings at 6:00 for students in grades 6 through 12.
Maple Street Community Church began in 1952 as a handful of families meeting in a schoolhouse. The chapel on Maple Street was built by its own members over two summers, and the bell in the steeple came from a church in Dayton that closed in 1961.
Seventy-some years later, we are still a small church where people know your name. This directory is our way of keeping it that way.
